Fun at the Park

So happy to be outside.
Checking out the mechanics of the swings.
Tanner wanted to go down the big tornado slide all by himself.
See Mom, I can do it!
Tanner couldn't figure out how to get on to the baseball field.
Nope, this door's locked too.
Fine, I'll just run outside the fence and pretend I'm running the bases.
Having fun!
Typical Tanner; always running off.
Or checking out the trash. It's usually one or the other.
A sweet, quite and friendly moment.
What a great day!!

Following in Daddy's Footsteps

The kids have figured out how to access Daddy's old school video games on the computer. Here they are trying to play Dig Dug.

Lookin' Good!

Taste Tester

This picture cracks me up. It looks like Tanner is taste testing a piece of food and saying "mmm" without saying anything at all.

Oh No!

Tanner always wants to help Mommy when I'm getting ready in the morning. So today as I had my make-up laid out and he was picking everything up and saying "here". As I said, "no thanks, that's for my eyes". I looked up and saw that he had opened my mascara and applied it to his eye. Oh no Tanner, oh no! Of course Mommy has to take a picture before I cleaned him.

So Handsome

We think Tanner looks so handsome and so grown up in his plaid shirt.

Trouble with a Capital T

18 Months!

Tanner turned 18 months old last Friday. I can't believe he's already a year and a half old. And in just 6 short months he's going to be 2!

Here's his stats:

Weight: 27lbs. 12oz (89th percentile)
Height: 34inches (96th percentile)

He's a Natural

Tanner has been playing hockey in the kitchen all day today. He seems to be a natural at it already!

Daddy showing Tanner some wicked moves.

What a Clown!

Tanner thought wearing the bread basket (which was empty thank goodness) as a hat would be hilarious at Spaghetti Works last night.

Just Checking My Email

Don't Tell

Don't tell Sissy that I like to wear her roller skates.

Aww!

Here's a video of poor Tanner. He fell asleep again while eating dinner the other night.

What? Part 2

I don't know what you guys are talking about? Now you tell me there's a roll on my head!

Snow!

Tanner got his first chance to play in the snow on Monday. Yes, I know, we had tons of snow last year but Tanner was still little then & we had so much snow we were afraid we would have lost him.

Tan wasn't quite sure what to think of the snow at first. He ran outside with such might that he fell face first in the snow. It took him a while to get the hang of walking in it and by the time we were ready to go in he wanted to stay outside.

I'm all ready to go!
What is this stuff? It's cold and wet.
Trying to recover from falling face first.
And we're down again.
Ya know, it would be a lot easier to see if I didn't have all these hats on.
I'm cold but I'm having fun now!
I didn't know you could play on the swing set in the snow. Fun!!
Watching the snow fall.

Everything's Under Control

Tanner's taking care of the smoke alarm even though it's not going off this time.

Mr. Goof-ball

Bowling!

Tanner went bowling for the first time on New Year's Eve Day. He loved rolling the ball down the lane but he also wanted to chase the ball down the lane. Needless to say Mommy & Daddy had their fair share of chasing Tanner down the very slippery lane.

Bowling is so much fun!
Daddy showing Tanner how it's done.
A short video of Tanner bowling.

What?

A piece of spaghetti on my head? What are you talking about?

We're Twins! Well Almost

Daddy & Tanner almost look like twins in their matching coats.

Christmas!

Leaving milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot with ranch for Rudolph.
Whoa! Santa left a lot of presents!
The stockings were full too.

How in the world did Santa get into our house & eat these cookies?
Tanner was too excited to ride his new fire truck that he didn't even take all the paper off.
I'm gonna use my teeth to open this one.
Checking out his new bath tub fishing boat.
Even Tanner loves to play with Mattie's new nursery.

Merry Christmas!!

Tanner: The Artist

Tanner painted his very first ornament at Grandma G's house the other day. He did such a great job!
