Tanner's New Bed

Tanner finally has a crib to sleep in!! When we ordered the crib it was damaged and had to contact the manufacturer to receive a replacement for the broken piece. Well after waiting almost 2 months it never arrived so we decided to give Tanner Mattie's crib and get Mattie a full sized bed. Such an ordeal but so relieved it's over.

Checking out his new turtle mobile.

A picture of the fun turtles.
Mommy! Can't a baby get some sleep?
Ahh...I love my new bed!!

The Many Smiles of Tanner

We've been trying to capture Tanner's smiles with the camera but haven't been quick enough until today. What a cutie!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Tanner went to his first football game Saturday night. It was Daddy's alma mater Truman State versus Mommy's alma mater UNO. It was a great night for football and Tanner had a great time. He just loves being outside!

Watching the game with Grandpa G.

There's some intense game watching going on here.
Getting a hug from Sissy.
Cheering on both teams with Grandpa & Grandma G.

Typical Man

I came home from shopping yesterday to find Tanner sound asleep in front of the t.v. with football on. Such a typical man to have to watch football on Saturday only to fall asleep.

I even caught him snoring. Turn your speakers up.

Don't Tell Mommy I Stole Her Sandwich

Tanner is acting very coy about stealing Mommy's sandwich.

What an Angel

Sweet Tanner has been doing such a great job of sleeping at night I just had to brag. The past few nights he's been sleeping anywhere from 6-7 hours. Then he'll eat and go back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. Looks like he's taking after his big sister since she was also sleeping through the night at his age. Keep it up little man!!!!

Tanner's Day at the Park

Tanner is an old pro when it comes to playing at parks. After all, he's been three times since he was born. But today was Tanner's first ever picnic at the park.

Somewhere, there is a Tanner under there.

Eating lunch. Well, Mattie is & Tanner is stretching out.

Getting some rays.
Feeling grass for the first time.
Wiggle those toes.
Then Mommy thought it would be fun to try on Tanner's hats.

He's so thrilled.
Whassup?
Mommy? Can I please take this hat off?

Tanner & Hawkeye

Tanner got to meet Aunt Kayla & Uncle Justin's dog Hawkeye tonight. I'm sure they'll be good friends someday.

Just in Case You Get Hungry

While Tanner was napping in the swing today Mattie made sure he had a bottle and spit-up cloth just in case he needed it.

Mattie & Tanner were enjoying some cuddle time on the blanket last night.

Let's see who's arm is bigger.
Mattie thinks the story Tanner is telling is hilarious!

A Family Traditon

When we found out we were having a boy Jon's mom showed us the coming home outfit that Jon & his brother Craig wore home. I had intended on putting Tanner in it as well but since he was in a hurry to get here I just grabbed the first outfit I could find as we dashed off to the hospital. So once he was home we were able to take a few pictures of him wearing Daddy & Uncle Craig's outfit.

Here Ya Go Buddy

Mattie thought she'd share some of her toys with Tanner today. Aw...how sweet!

The Thinker

Poor Tanner

As I came out of the bathroom today I heard Tanner crying so I went to check on him. This is what I found.
Hmm..this is interesting. I thought to myself, "well maybe he wiggled his arm out the pajamas they are too big after all". Then I asked Mattie how Tanner's arm ended up like that and she very bluntly said, "Mattie do it". Poor Tanner. At least Mattie is trying to comfort him.
