Sometimes I Think My Mommy is Crazy
Sometimes I think my Mommy is crazy. Tonight she put me in the small crib in the kitchen with my boppy pillow. Then she started to wrap a big blanket around me. I looked at her like she was crazy but then I realized what she was trying to do. She was just trying to help me sit up so I could help her make dinner. And you know what, it worked!!! Thank goodness for Mommy's crazy ideas.
I'm a Big Boy
Tanner has been eating cereal for a couple of weeks now but tonight we tried cereal while sitting in the highchair. It was so nice for the four of us to sit down at the dinner table together for the first time. Tanner loved sitting in the highchair. He gobbled down all his cereal and played in the chair for the longest time while he supervised Daddy doing the dishes.
I'm a big boy! Here Mommy....let me help you with that spoon.I love sitting up in my chair!!!!

Getting Cozy with the Cousins
Last weekend we had our Christmas with Cuckoo and Pa and Tanner tried to stay awake but just couldn't. So he found a cozy spot to take a short nap with his twin cousins Mia and Myah. The three of them were so cute together. I just know they are all going to be great friends.

I Can Roll!!
Today Tanner rolled over all by himself. It was so exciting plus I was able to catch him rolling over with the camera. He's done it about 5 times today so far. I guess we better watch out because he's on the move now!
4 Month Check-up
Tanner had his 4 month check-up last week and he's doing great. Here are his stats:
Weight: 16lbs. 2oz. (90th percentile)
Height: 28 inches (97th percentile & he grew 4 inches in 2 months!)
We also started him on some cereal too. He seems to like it so far.

Tanner's Baptism
We had Tanner baptized at St. Mary Magdalene last Sunday. He was such a good baby and didn't even cry when the water was poured on his head.
I'm such a handsome little man.A proud Mommy and Daddy.Being baptized.
A special blessing from Monsignor Gilg.

Peek-a-Boo
The other day while I was checking my email I had Tanner laying on the floor in the computer room. He had his blanket and toy turtle just laying by him. I just happened to look down and noticed he was playing peek-a-boo with me. How cute is that?
Just lay real still and Mommy won't see me.
Aww shucks!! She found me!!!!
Happy Birthday Mommy!

Giddy Up
Tanner took his first ride on Daddy's shoulders today. It was a very short one since he's not quite big enough but he seemed to have fun looking all around.
Partners in Crime
Looks like these two are the perfect partners in crime. They both seem to have a guilty look on their face don't you think?

Tanner's Visit to the ENT Specialist
Today was Tanner's appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist at Boys Town. Our pediatrician referred us to the specialist to find out why Tanner's breathing is sometimes noisy.
Waiting for the doctor.
In case you've never heard Tanner make his noises here's a video I took. The specialist had to insert a small tube with a camera attached to it down Tanner's nose. Poor Tanner!! He screamed and kicked. It was so heart-breaking but the doctor was able to come up with a diagnosis. Tanner has Laryngomalacia which is a big word that just means floppy tissue and soft cartilage around his voice box/larynx. This is a common condition in babies and it's not harmful and he will outgrow it. We're so relieved it's nothing serious!!!
